Beth El Gibor
Faith and Mission Statements

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Beth El Gibor is established on faith in the one (Echad) true God, the God of Abraham Isaac, Jacob and Moses. Beth El Gibor Embraces the Tanakh, the Hebrew Scriptures, Brit Chadashah (New Covenant), the Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit), and is centered on the Chief cornerstone, Mashiach, Yeshua the promised Jewish Messiah to all of Israel and the nations. Beth El Gibor is a house of prayer to the Jew first and equally to the Gentile (Romans 1:16). To be a testimony to all that will hear that Messiah Yeshua has come, proclaiming the Kingdom of God is at hand, and salvation has come thorough the life, death and resurrection of the Messiah King, Yeshua.

MISSION STATEMENT

To reach the lost sheep of the house of Israel, broadening the Messianic vision and experience in the Lehigh Valley, offering tangible proof of the kingdom of G-d expanding in harmony with a Jewish heritage, and calling. To share the Good News that Jews and Gentiles can enter into a relationship with the living God through the life, death and resurrection of Messiah Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah.

Services and festivals will be in accordance with the established majority of the Jewish community, always in the context of revelation and teachings of Messiah Yeshua. To be grounded in the truth of the Tanach and Brit Chadashah Testaments. Torah study will be the focus of the congregation's discipleship and training. Weekly worship will embrace a conservative/liturgical approach to praise and worship, focusing on lifting G-d up in praise, traditional and Messianic liturgical prayer, and Torah teaching, with emphasis on sharing in a culturally Jewish setting.

To develop a community where our children can be raised in our rich Jewish Heritage, living out the life cycle of Jewish life from the time of Brit Milah to Bar/Bat Mitzvah, to Marriage and to going home to the Lord.  The congregation will be a safe place where Jews and Gentiles can learn to embrace each other in our callings and be discipled in traditional Jewish culture (as appropriate), embracing and implementing this way of life within the context of congregational life and in our homes.

We are called to have Kesher (be connected) to the local Jewish community and Messianic Jewish community locally and beyond. Emphasis will be placed on covenant relationships whether it is with the local body of believers or the brother or sister sitting in the seat next to you. To be a voice in our local community, to be part of and support the Jewish community, bridging the gap with the Gentile Church regarding Jewish calling and understanding Messiah and the scriptures in its Jewish context.
